Resumen de Propuesta inicial para incluir los estudios de responsabilidad social en la enseñanza secundaria obligatoria

  En el actual panorama mundial se registran amplios sectores que afrontan un estado de pobreza y de exclusión, a lo cual se suman situaciones de riesgo y de vulnerabilidad en diversos grupos poblacionales. Por ello, estimamos que la escuela no puede permanecer ajena a dicha circunstancia, sino que debe llegar a interpelar al estudiante de secundaria mediante el desarrollo de estrategias de formación y compromiso que le permitan una progresiva preparación y participación en prácticas relacionadas con la responsabilidad social.

  Para que esto tenga operatividad tendríamos que concebir el aula como un microsistema en el cual se lleva a cabo una primera ejercitación socializante, con el objeto de establecer interacciones colaborativas y solidarias, y así mejorar el clima del espacio educativo y optimizar la docencia. Insistiendo en estas ideas, en el presente artículo pretendemos en primer lugar, aportar una serie de conceptos vinculados a la responsabilidad social para seguidamente estructurar un breve proyecto que pueda tener aplicabilidad en los cursos correspondientes a la educación secundaria, para lo cual se formulan una serie de actividades que permitan su implementación.

  In the present global panorama, there exist many collectives who find themselves in a position of poverty and exclusion, and other population groups are faced with situations of risk and vulnerability. Therefore, we are of the belief that the school cannot remain oblivious to this circumstance and that it must get secondary students involved by means of the development of teaching and engagement strategies. These will allow them to progressively improve their preparation and in activities related to social responsibility.

  For this to be operational, we would have to conceive the classroom as a micro-system in which an initial exercise of socialization is carried out with the objective of establishing collaborative and supportive actions that will both improve the climate in the educational space and optimize the teaching work. Emphasizing these ideas, this article firstly aims to provide a series of concepts related to social responsibility and volunteer work, and then to structure a brief project which may be applicable in the age groups corresponding to secondary education. In order to allow the project’s implementation, a series of activities will be also detailed.
