    ¿Cuánto tiempo libre habrá en el futuro? ¿Qué función social tendrán los eventos? ¿Cómo serán diseñados y gestionados? ¿Qué objetivos perseguirán? Este paper responde a estas preguntas ilustrando algunos de los datos de una investigación de pronóstico realizada de acuerdo con el método Delphi (De Masi, 2018).

    La investigación, que cubre todos los temas fundamentales en el centro de los Event Studies, describiendo las tendencias de desarrollo, involucró a un panel internacional de expertos en los campos más diversos (sociología, comunicación, economía, trabajo, nuevas generaciones) para discutir el tema desde su propia perspectiva específica.

    El texto constituye el núcleo de la investigación, es decir, la evolución más probable del mundo de los eventos entre hoy y el 2026.

    La investigación ha sido posible gracias a las aportaciones del siguiente panel de expertos: Alfredo Accatino, Lucio Argano, Roberto Cipriani, Enrico Cogno, Luca De Gennaro, Sonia Ferrari, Donald Getz, Robert A. Stebbins, Greg Clark, Eric McLuhan y Paolo Polettini.

    How much free time will there be in the future? What social function will the events have? How will they be designed and managed? What objectives will they pursue? This paper answers these questions by illustrating some of the data from a forecast investigation carried out according to the Delphi method (De Masi, 2018).

    The research, which covers all the fundamental issues at the center of the Event Studies, describing development trends, involved an international panel of experts in the most diverse fields (sociology, communication, economics, work, new generations) to discuss the topic from their own specific perspective.

    The text constitutes the core of the research, that is, the most probable evolution of the world of events between now and 2026.

    The research has been possible thanks to the contributions of the following panel of experts: Alfredo Accatino, Lucio Argano, Roberto Cipriani, Enrico Cogno, Luca De Gennaro, Sonia Ferrari, Donald Getz, Robert A. Stebbins, Greg Clark, Eric McLuhan and Paolo Polettini.
