Resumen de Inmigración y discriminación en el mercado del trabajo italiano: perfiles y crítica

Este trabajo analiza el fenómeno de la inmigración en Italia y su impacto en el empleo a partir de datos reales. Pone el acento en el papel de los inmigrantes en el mercado de trabajo italiano, así como en los principales elementos configuradores de las discriminaciones que los inmigrantes pueden padecer. Concluye afirmando que la inmigración no debe analizarse sólo en términos de costes y que aún queda mucho por hacer en la lucha contra la discriminación.

This work analyses the phenomenon of the immigration in Italy and its impact in the employment using real facts. It highlights the role of the immigrans in the Italian labour market, as well as in the main characthers shaping the discriminations the inmigrants can suffered. It concludes that the immigration must be studied not only from the point of view of the costs and stating that it is still a long way to go in the fighting agains discrimination.
