    El presente trabajo ha recopilado las buenas prácticas e iniciativas que se han realizado tanto en el ámbito universal o global como en el regional, para posteriormente identificar en el continente americano la legislación interna sobre esta temática, la jurisprudencia (incluso la dada en el Sistema Interamericano de Derechos Humanos) y los desafíos que puedan ser utilizados con el objeto de identificar alternativas que puedan dar un mejor tratamiento al tema.

    This work has compiled good practices and initiatives that have been carried out both in the universal or global scope and in the regional one, for later identify in the American continent the internal legislation on this subject, the jurisprudence (including that givenin the Inter–American Human Rights System) and the challenges that may arise be used in order to identify alternatives that can give a better treatment to the topic.
