    La Historia del Tiempo Presente (HTP) es un tipo de práctica historiográfica en construcción dentro de la disciplina que conocemos como Historia. Se analiza la trayectoria de la HTP a partir del reconocimiento de la historia contemporánea como periodo historiográfico, que responde a los cambios ocurridos después de la primera y segunda guerra mundial, así como por el desplazamiento a favor del saber científico producido en el siglo XX que conforma la visión moderna sobre las cosas y el universo, pero también a un cambio en el propio paradigma disciplinario de la historia que ahora permite abrir el debate del presente como un ámbito historiográfico susceptible al examen del historiador en colaboración con las ciencias sociales. Se incluye el caso de la historiografía mexicana contemporánea como caso de estudio.

    The History of Present Time (HPT) is a type of historiographical practice under construction within the discipline we know as History. It shows the path taken by the HPT from the recognition of contemporary history as a historiographical period, which responds to the historical changes that occurred after the first and Second World War, as well as the displacement in favor of scientific knowledge produced in the century. XX that makes up the modern vision about things and the universe, but also to a change in the disciplinary paradigm of history that now allows opening the debate of the present as a historiographical field susceptible to the examination of the historian in collaboration with the social sciences. The case of contemporary Mexican historiography is included as a sample button.
