    La construcción del relato historiográfico sobre la Guerra Civil ha abundado, en las últimas dos décadas, en la utilización de las fuentes orales como medio de aproximación a las vivencias más íntimas de los supervivientes de la Guerra Civil y la inmediata represión franquista, aportando de esta manera un nuevo recurso escasamente utilizado hasta ese momento y que contribuye a la recuperación de la memoria colectiva de los diferentes pueblos, ciudades y regiones españolas sobre aquellos luctuosos acontecimientos. La comunicación que se propone ahonda en el estudio de la literatura de la memoria histórica, realizando un recorrido por las obras más destacadas y su intrahistoria, y sometiendo a juicio crítico la aportación de los diferentes autores en el proceso de recuperación de la memoria histórica. Asimismo, se ocupará de analizar la incidencia de esta nueva literatura sobre la Guerra Civil española en los debates suscitados a partir de la promulgación y aplicación de la Ley de Memoria Histórica.

    The construction of the historiographical story about the Civil War has abounded, in the last two decades, in the use of oral sources as a means of approaching the most intimate experiences of the survivors of the Civil War and the immediate repression of the Franco’s regime, contributing in this way a new resource scarcely used up to that moment and that contributes to the recovery of the collective memory of the different Spanish towns, cities and regions on those tragic events. The communication that is proposed deepens in the study of the literature of historical memory, making a tour of the most outstanding works and its intrahistory, and submitting to critical judgment the contribution of the different authors in the process of recovery of historical memory. Likewise, it will be analyzed the incidence of this new literature on the Spanish Civil War in the debates arising from the promulgation and application of the Law of Historical Memory.
