    Esta comunicación propone un acercamiento al acceso de los historiadores a centros de poder cultural e intelectual, en concreto al Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, durante la primera posguerra, así como una reflexión sobre su papel en la construcción de apoyos al régimen. Se abordará, en primer lugar, el papel que tuvieron los intelectuales en la definición del proyecto cultural franquista, destacándose el uso de conceptos y debates que provenían del siglo XIX. En segundo lugar, se presentará una aproximación a la ruptura provocada por la creación del CSIC, así como en el seno de la Universidad, y la recuperación de una tradición intelectual que había estado latente durante las décadas anteriores, si bien en un segundo plano. Así, uno de los objetivos principales es intentar entender las nuevas dinámicas académicas no como una ruptura total con el periodo anterior y la construcción de una nueva ortodoxia, sino como el triunfo y la revancha de un modelo científico que, tras unos años aparentemente entre estertores, surgía de nuevo con fuerza para dominar el panorama científico español. Por último, se analizará cómo el relato historiográfico se puso al servicio de las diferentes oportunidades de promoción que se fueron abriendo, como fue el caso de las cátedras universitarias, ejemplificándolo con algunos historiadores del momento.

    This paper proposes an approach to the access of the historians to the intellectual and cultural power’s center. It will be focused on the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas during the first postwar. It will also consider their role in the construction of the regime’s support. Firstly, it will consider the role of the intellectuals in the definition of the Francoist cultural project, emphasizing the use of concepts and debates that came from the XIX century. Secondly, it will expose an approach to the rupture caused by the creation of the CSIC, as the one that took place at the University, and the recovery of an intellectual tradition that had been dormant during the previous decades. One of the main goals is trying to understand the new academicals dynamics not as a total rupture with the previous term and the building of a new orthodoxy, but as the success and the revenge of a scientific model apparently dying for the previous years, but a model which came back stronger than before to dominate the Spanish scientific scene. Lastly, it will analyze how the historic account was at the service of the different promotion opportunities that were appearing, as it is the case of the university teaching positions, with different examples from some historians at that moment.
