    En el presente trabajo se abordarán las elaboraciones de C. Lasègue, W. Gull y S. Freud vinculadas a la anorexia histérica o nerviosa. El motivo de dicha revisión se sostiene en la delimitación precisa que lograron estos autores en lo referente al pronóstico, diagnóstico y tratamiento de la anorexia, lo cual, en un movimiento de relectura, nos brinda herramientas para abordar la dificultad clínica de esta presentación sintomática. Es del estado actual de las investigaciones en relación a anorexia que se desprende la necesidad de repasar las nociones de estos dos psiquiatras y del padre del psicoanálisis –en sus coincidencias y disidencias- en vías de relevar aportes posibles. En un apartado final expondremos conclusiones y líneas de trabajo ulteriores.

    In this paper we will address the coordinates that led to the emergence of mental anorexia as a psychopathological category. We will start from the results of a series of research state-of-the-art, a review showing the need to re-elaborate the pioneering considerations around the subject-matter. By most authors' consensus, we will emphasize on C. Lasègue's W. Gull's, J. M. Charcot's, S. Freud's and P. Janet's developments. Either for the semiological value of their researches or the heterogeneity of their hypotheses, we will take their contributions and references in a dialectical ovement that allows us to re-address the substantial issues in the practice work. We will bear in mind the main areas such as: the denomination and the delimitation of the case, its description, its hypotheses, the family's place and incidence, the epidemiological distribution and the risk of the mortality high rate in the acute states. In a final section we will show some further conclusions and eventual working guidelines.
