Barreras para la inclusión social de las personas con discapacidad, un escenario de derechos humanos

    El presente artículo tiene como objeto poner de manifiesto las barreras que no permiten la inclusión social de las personas con discapacidad en el municipio de Turmequé, Boyacá, en tanto que son sujetos de derecho con las mismas posibilidades de cualquier otra persona, pero sobre quienes recae una percepción social negativa. A través del método mixto de investigación cualitativo- cuantitativo, se presenta un análisis de los resultados obtenidos y como conclusión se establece que la discapacidad hoy en día es aún más vista como parte integral de los derechos humanos, rompe con las barreras que soportaban y cuestionaban la igualdad de las personas con discapacidad, por las limitaciones físicas y/o cognitivas, y se extienden el análisis y los cuestionamientos hacia aspectos más generales y globales que obstruyen el libre y desarrollo integral de quienes presentan alguna discapacidad; todo ello asociado con la forma como se ha medido la condición humana en términos de reconocimiento de sus derechos, considerando la carencia de mecanismos de apoyo y protección a los que se han enfrentado y se siguen enfrentando las personas con discapacidad.

    The next article has the objective to make known the barriers that does not allow the social inclusion of the people with disabilities on the town of Turmequé- Boyacá, who are subjects of rights with the same possibilities of anybody else, but whom falls a negative conception. Trough the mix method between research qualitative and quantitative, an analysis of the results is presented and, as a conclusion it is stablished that the disabilities in these days are displayed as an integral part of the human rights, break the barriers that holds and questions the equality of the people with disabilities, because of the physic or cognitive limitations, and the analysis and questionings are extended towards more general and global aspects that block the free social development of the people with any disability, all related to the way in that the human condition in terms of recognizing of human rights, considering the miss of support mechanisms and protection that the people with disabilities have faced, and still does.
