  Los inventarios de Leonor y Luis Zaporta son ejemplo de cómo la burguesía adinerada del Antiguo Régimen utilizó los bienes suntuarios como método de marcaje de su ascenso social. La documentación de esta rama de la familia, que se extingue a comienzos del siglo XVII, contiene una exhaustiva enumeración de los ricos y lujosos enseres que ensalzaron el interior de sus propiedades inmuebles. Su estudio y clasificación nos permiten comprender el espacio doméstico que habitaron y el uso que hicieron de las artes como elemento de ostentación.

  The Leonor and Luis Zaporta’s inventories are examples on how the wealthy bourgeoisie of the Old Regime used luxury goods as a marking method of their social succeed. The documentation of this part of this family, which was extinguished at the beginning of the seventeenth century, contains an exhaustive list of the rich and luxurious furnishings that extolled the interior of its real estate. Their study and classification allow us to understand the domestic space that they inhabited, and the use they made of the arts as an element of ostentation.
