  • In the present work , the knowledge enginering languages for building expert systems have been investigated. The analysis includes 55 languages. The languages are classified according to the primary knowledge representation technique used by the language. The results show that the LISP and its dialexts is the most common language for implementing these knowledge engineering languajes. The development stages of these tools are also discussed.
