A sequence of Desing-Oriented Experiments for a microprocessor laboratory has been developed for two undergraduate courses. The first course experiments are intented to provide hands-on experience in the microprocessor hardware structure, use of the instruction set Input/Output operation. In the second course, we propose more complex proyect-type experiments where amore specilized level or hardware and sortware treatment is required. The set of developed experiments complements the theorical courses of Structure and Arquitecture of Computers. An overview of the laboratory equipment is given. The set of experiments is outlined and their pedagogical purpose briefly discussed.
