Resumen de I.C. VLSI logic layer removing through image processing techniques

In this paper we present some image processing techniques, which applied like second part of a classification process are a solution for the hidden zones problem. It apears in the inferior layers of a I.C. layout when an extraction process of superior layers has been applied. The algorithms are applied like a post- process of the classification procedures for deciding which is the component of an empty zone in their neighbourhood function. The decision is taken in an intelligent way using some special characteristics of the application. Afterwards, these characteristics will be converted n expert system rules.
