    La estructura y funcionamiento de los órganos de la inspección educativa lo regula cada Administración educativa, estableciendo los planes de actuación con el objetivo de garantizan el desempeño de la misma y asegurar el ejercicio de sus funciones.En general, estos planes están vertebrados por objetivos que definen sus líneas estratégicas y criterios de actuación, cuentan con diferentes niveles (autonómicos y provinciales, plurianuales y anuales) y priorizan las actuaciones que engloban para lograr las metas previamente formuladas.Además de lo anterior, los planes de actuación proyectan el trabajo en un plazo de tiempo y prevén los recursos con el fin último de asegurar el cumplimiento de las leyes, la garantía de los derechos y la observancia de los deberes de cuantos participan en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje, la mejora del sistema educativo y la calidad y equidad de la enseñanza, conforme se establece en el artículo 148.2 de la LOE.

    The structure and operation of the educational inspection bodies are regulated by each Educational Administration, establishing action plans with the objective of guaranteeing their performance and ensuring the exercise of their functions. In general, these plans are based on objectives that define their strategic lines and criteria for action, have different levels (regional and provincial, multi-annual and annual) and prioritize the actions included to achieve the previously formulated goals. In addition to the above, the action plans project the work over a period of time and provide for the resources with the ultimate goal of ensuring compliance with the laws, the guarantee of the rights and the observance of the duties of those who participate in the processes of teaching and learning, the improvement of the education system and the quality and equity of teaching, as established in article 148.2 of the LOE
