    Tradicionalmente se ha considerado la escuela de Sagres como una iniciativa de carácter científico y formativo bajo las órdenes de Enrique el Navegante, la cual tomó un rol clave en su proyecto de exploración y expansión por el océano Atlántico. Hasta la llegada del siglo XX no se la ha puesto bajo la lente del historiador profesional, que ha ido desentrañando la verdad y ha puesto en duda su existencia. La intención de este artículo es estudiarla en profundidad, estableciendo una línea historiográfica desde sus inicios hasta la actualidad. El objetivo final es ver dónde empieza la realidad histórica y donde termina el mito.

    Traditionally the school of Sagres is considered as an initiative of scientific research and training under the command of Henry the Navigator, which played a key role in his exploration and expansion project through the Atlantic Ocean. Until the 20th century, it has not been investigated under the lens of the professional historian, whom has unraveled the truth and has questioned its existence. The intention of this paper is to study the school in depth, establishing a historiographic trajectory from its origins until the present. The goal is to understand where historical reality begins, and the myth ends.
