  • The broad availability of personal computers and the proliferation of dedicated software allow the use of innovative techniques in a multimedia approach to learning/teaching. The proposed techniques include Web based tools, and the elaboration of educative CD Roms. While the web based lessons or tutorials fit quite nicely in the framework of more conventional lectures and practices, complementing them, the CD Rom is proposed as a complement of the classical textbook or compiled class notes. With the available software, the preparation of web based materials does not require any more in deep knowledge of computing coding languages; the elaboration of CD Roms can be performed either by learning simple multimedia authoritative coding or by using dedicated services implemented in some universities.
