El mal: dos mitos sobre el origen. Una reflexión psicoanalítica

    Dentro del pensamiento cristiano adámico del Génesis se alza como una pieza clave en el intento del ser humano en descifrar el enigma del mal. Pero ya en pleno siglo XX encontramos otro mito que también describe un trágico drama en el origen mismo de la desgracia humana. En el descrito por Freud en Tótem y tabú. En el presente texto se intenta analizar las similitudes existentes entre ambas propuestas, considerando que, en ambas, la fuente última del desastre se sitúa en la pretensión humana de alcanzar una omnipotencia. La perspectiva psicoanalítica preside el intento de comprensión.

    Within the Christian thought, the Adamic myth of the book of Genesis rises as a key piece in the human being’s endeavor to decipher the enigma of evil. But already at the height of the Twentieth Century we find another myth which also describes a tragic drama in the very origin of the human misfortune. It is the one described by Freud in Totem and Taboo. By the present article it is intended to analyze the existent similitude between both proposals, considering that in both of them, the last source of the disaster is placed on the human aspiration to reach an omnipotence. The psychoanalytic perspective rules over the intent of understanding.
