Resumen de Ecos de la revuelta del arrabal de Córdoba (202/818) en el Magreb-Al-Aqsa: La Historia de una emigración andalusí en Fez

A pesar de la importancia de los hechos del arrabal de Šaqunda (202 H./818 e.C.) que llevaron a la expulsión de una buena parte de la población cordobesa a varios destinos, poco sabemos sobre los andalusíes que se refugiaron en la ciudad de Fez, y contribuyeron a la fundación del estado idrīsī. Este estudio analiza la presencia de estos andalusíes en Fez, y su papel en los conflictos que se generaron entre los fāṭimíes de Túnez y los omeyas de Córdoba a lo largo del siglo X, causados por la voluntad de los dos nuevos poderes en el Mediterráneo de controlar la ciudad de Fez. En estos conflictos, destacó la familia andalusí de los Banū Ṯa‘laba que intentó mantener su lealtad a los idrīsíes, y ganar los favores de los omeyas de Córdoba. Ésta y otras familias andalusíes, árabes en su gran mayoría, fueron usadas por los idrīsíes para contrarrestar el peso de los bereberes en el Magreb.

Despite the importance of the events of the arrabal (202 H./818 C.e.) that caused the expulsion of a main part of population of the suburb of Cordoba known by “the rabaḍ of Šaqunda”, to various destinations, we don’t have news about the Andalusians who took refuge in the city of Fez, and contributed to the foundation of the Idrīsi State. This study analyzes the presence of these Andalusians in Fes, and their role in the conflicts that were generated between the Fāṭimids of Tunisia and the Umayyads of Cordoba during X century, caused by the will of the two new Mediterranean powers to control the city of Fes. In these conflicts, the Andalusian family of the Banū Tha‘laba stood out and tried to maintain their loyalty to the Idrīsids and win the favors of the Umayyads of Córdoba. This, and other Andalusian families, Arabs in their great majority, were used by the Idrīsids to limit the power of the Berbers in the Maghrib.
