Resumen de Intermedialidade

Intermediality is based on the principle of dialogue between disciplinary fields, is linked to the cult of interdisciplinarity and the so-called conceptual integration theory (‘conceptual blending’; cf. Schneider & Hartner, 2012). In the framework of these interactional movements, the following aspects entailed by intermediality are highlighted: a dynamic and trans-semiotic conception of the narrative and the media discourses; the tendency to cross boundaries between languages; the refusal of a hierarchy that establishes priorities between cultural practices (such as literature is superior to cinema and cinema to television). The narrative with intermedial propensity develops a dynamic and transnarrative vocation that requests, on the receptive plane, a correlative dynamism of reading and analysis, with the resulting exegetical deepening.

A intermedialidade apoia-se no princípio do diálogo entre campos disciplinares, liga-se ao culto da interdisciplinaridade e à chamada teoria da integração conceptual (conceptual blending; cf. Schneider & Hartner, 2012). Sublinha-se, no quadro destes movimentos de interação, os seguintes aspetos que a intermedialidade comporta: uma conceção dinâmica e trans-semiótica da narrativa e dos discursos mediáticos; a tendência para a superação de fronteiras entre linguagens; a recusa de uma hierarquização que institua prioridades entre práticas culturais (do tipo: a literatura é superior ao cinema e este à televisão). A narrativa com propensão intermediática desenvolve uma vocação dinâmica e transnarrativa que solicita, no plano recetivo, um correlato dinamismo de leitura e análise, com os aprofundamentos exegéticos que daí decorrem.
