The imposition of a wave of fear and silence in the scientific and educational environment has increased in Argentina since the last quarter of a century, during the Menem government, it has been intensified during the Kirchner government, and has spread to the rest of the system in a long historical process, theorized recently by Noelle-Neumann, and whose damage to the argentine society measured in monetary terms largely exceeds the totality of the foreign debt.
