  Catalina de Foix y Juan III de Albret juraron y fueron coronados (1494). Sin embargo, el príncipe Felipe [II] prestó este mismo juramento en persona siendo todavía heredero. Los reyes, pero también los navarros, necesitaron hacer adaptaciones después de la conquista e incorporación a la Monarquía de España, cuya duración debemos repensar

  Katalina Foixkoak eta Joan III.a Albretekoak zin egin zuten eta koroatuak izan ziren (1494). Felipe [II.a] printzeak, aldiz, aurrez aurre egin zuen zin hori bera, artean oinordeko zela. Erregeek, baina baita Nafarroako herritarrek ere, egokitzapenak egin behar izan zituzten konkistaren ondoren, Espainiako Monarkian sartzean. Egokitzapen horien iraupena birpentsatu egin beharko da.

  The royal coronation of Catherine of Foix and Juan III of Albret included an oath of the Fueros. Nevertheless, Philip of Habsburg took the same oath in 1551 without any other rite, though being still an inheritor. The kings, also the Navarrese ones, needed to do adjustments after the conquest and incorporation to the Monarchy of Spain.
