    El retablo mayor de la catedral de Tudela es considerado el más relevante ejemplo conservado de la pintura tardogótica del reino de Navarra. El presente trabajo presenta un documento hasta ahora inédito que, unido a los ya conocidos, permite reconstruir el complejo proceso de generación de la máquina con notable precisión al tiempo que identificar de forma plausible algunas tablas de la misma con la mano de Diego del Águila, un artista castellano del que apenas se tenía información.

    The main altarpiece of the cathedral of Tudela is considered to be the most outstanding preserved example of the Late Gothic Painting in the kingdom of Navarre. This article presents a new, completely unknown document up to now, which along with the already known ones allows the reader to plausibly reconstruct the complex process of the making of the altarpiece. At the same time, it is possible to identify precisely some other scenes of the altarpiece, made by the same artist, Diego del Águila, a painter from Castile about whom not much is known.

Lan honek orain arte argitaratu gabeko dokumentu bat dakar, eta, ezagunak diren agiriekin batera, ahalbidetzen du makina sortzeko prozesu korapilatsua doitasun handiz berreraikitzea, eta orobat Diego del Águilaren (ia ezagutu ere egiten ez den Gaztelako artistaren) eskua egokiro identifikatzea taula batzuetan.
