Lower Cretaceus sediments (Hauteriviam to Barremian) in Northern lberian Chain (Aguilón, Zaragoza) are deposited in a shallow lacustrine environment. Three main shallowing upward sequences are developed. In the upper two sequences, storm levels are found (proximal to distal tempestites). The most complete sequence in that levels shows the following succesion: sharp base, graded ostracod grainstone and parallel to low-angle lamination.
