    El debate entre la filosofía hermenéutica de Hans Georg Gadamer y la deconstrucción de Jacques Derrida está lejos de haber concluido. A la luz de Carneros (2003), el texto poco estudiado aún de la conferencia leída por Derrida en memoria de Gadamer, pretendemos reanudar aquí el intenso diálogo entre estos dos pensadores emblemáticos de la filosofía continental de finales del siglo pasado. Partiendo de las distintas significaciones que en cada caso toman nociones como ‘diálogo’ o ‘mundo’, pero también de la manera diversa como cada uno de ellos interpreta la filosofía platónica o la poesía de Paul Celan, nos proponemos iluminar el profundo desacuerdo ontológico y ético que existe entre las dos propuestas. La cuestión del otro, central para ambos autores, se mostrará al final como el punto donde se condensan y agudizan las tensiones entre ellos.

    The debate between the hermeneutic philosophy of Hans Georg Gadamer and the deconstruction of Jacques Derrida is far from over. In the light of Carneros (2003), the text of the lecture read by Derrida in memory of Gadamer, we intend to resume here the intense dialogue between these two emblematic thinkers of continental philosophy at the end of the last century. Starting from the different meanings that in each case take notions such as `dialogue' or `world', but also in the different ways in which each of them interprets the Platonic philosophy or the poetry of Paul Celan, we intend to illuminate the profound ontological and ethical disagreement that exists between the two proposals. The question of the other, central to both authors, will be shown at the end as the point where the tensions between them are condensed and sharpened.
