Resumen de Identificación espacio temporal de la incidencia del turismo en la dinámica poblacional rural en la Comunitat Valenciana

  En este trabajo se analiza la evolución de la oferta turística derivada de las inversiones realizadas en las diferentes iniciativas europeas de desarrollo rural (programas LEADER) en la Comunitat Valenciana y su impacto sobre la dinámica poblacional. Se ha estudiado la existencia de tendencias semejantes entre la evolución en el tiempo de estos indicadores y la población  mediante el análisis de cointegración y causalidad. Y aunque las  series muestran comportamientos similares, no existe evidencia de que la inversión en oferta turística haya tenido impacto positivo en la evolución de la población de los pequeños municipios rurales de la CV.

  This paper analyzes the impact on the population dynamics of the different European Initiatives LEADER for rural development in the Valencian Community. This relationship is studied through the analysis of indicators related to public investment and tourism offer in those regions where investment projects have been implemented in the different programming periods. It has been investigated the existence of similar trends between the evolution over time of these indicators and the population, and although the series presents similar behaviors, there is no evidence enough to affirm that tourist investment in small rural municipalities of the Valencian Region has had a positive impact on the population evolution.
