  • Resumen
    • A selection of 50 pieces of industrial design from the last 50 years has been considered in this online exhibition to commemorate the Centennial of the Bauhaus. But it shows much more than design has been in the last 50 years because it is based on previous achievements and provides the basis for what is projected today. The criterion of selection does not intend to be objective, but it attends to a criterion that is alien to the bond and affinity that arises between person and object, an emotional aspect that is an essential objective in the competitiveness of contemporary design. Therefore, the vital and emotive universe of design that a person today, in his maturity, has lived during the different stages of his life is collected. This brings back memories that turn into icons these industrial referents, which have remained in the territory of a material heritage of our existence. This category of objects that surround us in our daily lives, as an intimate expression of our soul and with which there has been an emotional complicity survive its function.
