  • España Diseña is an exhibition that was created to commemorate the 25 Editions of the National Design Awards (1987-2017), an initiative of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness, which had the collaboration of BCD, DIMAD and READ, and which was presented at the La Central de Diseño of Matadero Madrid in 2018. As curators, we want to share the gestation of the project, the methodology used and reveal the invisible layers that have structured the exhibition discourse. In this sense, the exhibition is analyzed as a media, as a historical research tool and as a vehicle for cultural, economic and political promotion
