• Resumen

  • The article explores the art and social scene of Mexico and Mexico City as of 2019. Noted are the social issues faced by women, including instances of inequality, assault and violence. The work of artist Betzabeth Torres is discussed, she belongs to the collective Mamífieras, whose manifesto states their goal as creating alliances among women and bringing bodies together for free movement in public space. The work of the writer and researcher Susana Vargas is also discussed.
