El objetivo del proyecto es, por lo tanto, comprender el papel del patrimonio cultural en el aumento del valor del territorio y contribuir al desarrollo de nuevos proyectos, específicamente dentro del campo de la arquitectura contemporánea. Los objetos de estudio son dos sitios reconocidos por la UNESCO, así como las ciudades históricas de Zamora y Toro. Como el río Duero es el vínculo entre estos territorios, tengo la intención de desarrollar estudios que permitan la creación de un eje Duero-Duero, uno que une culturas y transpone las fronteras para promover un territorio cultural compartido

The aim of the aforementioned project is, therefore, to comprehend the role of cultural heritage in the territory's value increase and its contribute to the development of new projects -specifically, within the field of contemporary architecture. The objects of study are two sites recognised by UNESCO, as well as the historical cities of Zamora and Toro. As the Douro river is the lilnk between these territories, I intend to develop studies that enable the creation of a "Douro-Duero" axis, one that brings cultures together and transposes borders to promote a shared cultural territory
