El Alcázar Viejo de Belmonte fue construido en el siglo XIV por don Juan Manuel y fue rehabilitado como hotel entre 2007 y 2014. A su lado se alza la colegiata de San Bartolomé, construida por Hanequín de Bruselas. Don Juan Pacheco, I marqués de Villena, hizo construir entre 1457 y 1472 el castillo de Belmonte, que fue restaurado en 1857-70 por Alejandro Sureda. En 2008 comenzaron las obras de rehabilitación, financiadas con acuerdo de la Casa Ducal de Peñaranda y de las instituciones públicas.

The "Alcázar Viejo" of Belmonte was built in the 14th century by Don Juan Manuel and was restored as a hotel between 2007 and 2014. Beside it stands the Collegiate Church of San Bartolomé, built by Hanequin of Brussels. Don Juan Pacheco, 1º Marquis of Villena had the Castle of Belmonte built between 1547 and 1472, which was restored in 1857- 70 by Alejandro Sureda. In 2008, rehabilitation works began, financed with the agreement of the Ducal House of Peñaranda and public institutions.
