    El artículo propone una reflexión sobre la capacidad retórica de la sofística, en particular sobre la habilidad de la interpretación de los sueños (onirocrítica) y la práctica terapéutica por medio de la palabra para mitigar las penas de la vida (logoterapia) desarrolladas por el sofista rétor Antifonte. Detrás de estas prácticas se establece una concepción diferente del conocimiento y por lo tanto otra forma de hacer filosofía; un tipo de saber que se resiste al imperativo metafísico que se está fraguando en la época, mediante el establecimiento de bases realistas que posibiliten diferentes estilos de vida

    The article proposes a reflection on the rhetorical capacity of sophistry, in particular on the ability of the interpretation of dreams (onirocritic) and the therapeutic practice by means of the word to mitigate the pains of life (logotherapy) developed by the sophist rhetorical Antiphon. Behind these practices a different conception of knowledge is established and therefore another way of doing philosophy; a type of knowledge that resists the metaphysical imperative that is being forged at the time, through the establishment of realistic bases that make possible different lifestyles
