  Las novelas sobre el terrorismo de ETA son una fuente para los científicos sociales. Aportan conocimiento sobre esta organización e invitan a plantear preguntas sobre cómo se cuenta su historia y por qué, y sobre las consecuencias de tratar determinados temas. Hemos elegido a Raúl Guerra Garrido como objeto de estudio por varios motivos: por ser uno de los novelistas que más obras ha dedicado a este terrorismo, el primero en tratar el miedo sufrido por los amenazados y extorsionados, y el que más atención ha prestado a los réditos políticos y económicos producidos por el terror de ETA. Planteamos tres preguntas: respecto a la historicidad de su obra, si es una fuente para el conocimiento de este terrorismo; respecto a su biografía, de qué forma sus novelas sobre ETA y sus víctimas afectaron a su vida privada y pública; y cómo influyó la circunstancia de ser un autor sometido a aislamiento por el nacionalismo y a amenazas y agresiones por ETA y los pro etarras en su creación literaria

  The novels about ETA terrorism are a source for social scientists. They contribute knowledge about this organization and invite to ask questions about how their history is told and why, and about the consequences of dealing with certain topics. We have chosen Raúl Guerra Garrido as an object of study for several reasons: for being one of the novelists who has dedicated most works to this terrorism, the first to deal with the fear suffered by the victims threatened and extorted, and the one that has paid the most attention to the political and economic revenues produced by the terror of ETA. We raise three questions: regarding the historicity of his work, if it is a source for the knowledge of this terrorism; regarding his biography, how his novels about ETA and its victims affected his private and public life; and what effect had the circumstance of being an author subjected to isolation by nationalism and threats and aggressions by ETA and pro-ETA in his literary creation.
