En 1813, Jane Austen publicó su obra más famosa: Orgullo y Prejuicio. La superposición de personajes y escenarios tejió con sencillez magistral un retrato universal de la socidad inglesa. La comunicación estudia los interiores georgianos descritos y su plasmación en la adaptación cinematográfica de 2005. El análisis de las texturas del relato y una lectura atenta de los ambientes contemporáneos permiten descubrir en el film la representación fiel de la atmósfera cotidiana recreada por Austen.

In 1813, Jane Austen published her most famous work: Pride and Prejudice. Through the overlapping of characters and sets the masterfully built a simple and lasting portrait of the English society. This article looks at its Georgian interiors and how they translate into the cinematographic discourse of 2005. An analysis of the textures and an attentive study of its contemporary atmospheres allow for the discovery of a faithful film depiction of the quotidian environment conceived by Austen.
