    The cuts in public resources destined to the financing of the social-labor reintegration activities of the convicts have made the problem of the ineffectiveness of the penitentiary work chronic, with immediate repercussions in the contrast to the recidivism.

    The work aims to offer a contribution to the debate on the feasibility in Italy of social impact finance programs, based on the model of social impact bonds and English and American pay for success.

    I tagli alle risorse pubbliche destinate al finanziamento delle attività di reinserimento socio-lavorativo dei condannati hanno reso cronico il problema dell’ineffettività del lavoro penitenziario, con immediate ricadute nel contrasto alla recidiva. Il lavoro intende offrire un contributo al dibattito sulla fattibilità in Italia di programmi di finanza ad impatto sociale, realizzati sul modello dei social impact bond e dei pay for success inglesi ed americani.
