Resumen de Borbonismo politico e rivoluzione permanente a Napoli: un'interpretazione (1793-1894)

Carmine Pinto

  • Neapolitan legitimism was part of a significant international phenomenon: the political reaction to the collapse of the Bourbon system started with the shock of the French monarchy. This article aims to propose an interpretation of political Bourbonism in the long historical period, choosing as a perspective the long war against the revolution that marked its decisive characteristics. A functional outline is proposed to capture some aspects of this peculiar expression of European legitimism, selecting the crucial moments of its conflict with the revolution, a process that marked the whole second phase of Bourbon monarchy history.
