The Upper Ordovician sedimentary record of the western Orri dome (central Pyrenees), showsa thin succession including a thinning upwards sequence of matrix supported conglomerates inthe lower part (Rabassa Fm.), fine-grained sandy and silty slates (Cava Fm.), two or threeshoaling upward sequences of crinoidal limestones (Estana Fm.) and finally fine-grained blueslates (Ansobell Fm.). The serie is similar to the described from the eastern Pyrenees except fora poor content in volcanic components and the local presence of a thin level of carbonateconglomerates and sandstones with calcareous pebbles above the Estana Fm. The correlationamong some sections shows a wedge geometry tapering to the west, where is absent the basalconglomerate, and a light increase in the limestone thick in the westernmost outcrops. Thecharacteristics of the Upper Ordovician from western Orri dome resemble to the described forsections of northern central Pyrenees and they have differences with the sections from theeastern Orri dome.
