  • In the occidental zone of the Natural Park of Sierra Espuha (Murcia), in the hydrographical basin of the Segura, an exploitation mixed system (irrigation and municipal water) has been defined, which presents an average deficit of water resources of 2,5 hmVyear. We propose a series of recommendations in order to balance the system to half term and assure an sustainable exploitation of groundwater resources that include a mix of structural, institutional and cognitive measures.
