Serranía de Cuenca South basins are filled with Tertiary detrital sediments, hosting local aquifers. Under these deposits and separated by Maestrichtian marls, Upper Cretaceous limestones conform occasionally the main aquifer. As well there are others groundwater aquifers like Maestrichtian gypsums and Jurassic limestones, overcropping in some anticline axis, blow, theknowledge concerning these aquifers is really poor and this paper contributes the last cooperating experiences of investigation among the Instituto Tecnológico Geominero de España and the Diputación Provincial de Cuenca.
