    Como una manifestación más del interés superior del menor, éste tiene derecho a relacionarse con sus hermanos, abuelos y otros parientes y allegados, y solo podrá denegarse cuando exista justa causa para ello. Dicho régimen de relación es compatible con el régimen de visitas que pueda establecerse en favor de uno de los progenitores, pero uno y otro no son equiparables. De hecho, el contenido y la extensión del régimen de relación del menor con sus hermanos, abuelos y otros parientes y allegados será, como regla general, más reducido que el del régimen de visitas que corresponde a los progenitores; mientras que la periodicidad será mayor. Además, la duración temporal deberá ser todavía menor y la periodicidad mayor en aquellos casos en los que el régimen de relación con los menores deba establecerse con más de una persona.

    As a further manifestation of the best interests of the child, the child has the right to a relationship with his or her siblings, grandparents and other relatives and close relatives, and may only be refused where there is just cause to do so. This relationship regime is compatible with any visitation regime that may be established in favour of one of the parents, but both are not comparable. In fact, the content and extent of the child’s relationship with siblings, grandparents and other relatives and close relatives will be, as a general rule, more limited than the parental visiting regime, while the periodicity will be greater. In addition, the temporary duration must be even shorter and the periodicity greater in those cases in which the regime of relationship with children must be established with more than one person.
