Resumen de Valsa para Bruno Stein sob a perspectiva teórica estruturalista

  This paper aims to analyze Valsa para Bruno Stein (A Waltz to Bruno Stein), a novel from the Brazilian writer Charles Kiefer, under the perspective of the estruturalism. Our thesis is that the novel is constructed using the structure of the waltz, whose ternary measure is composed of one strong and two weak beats. In addition, we emphasize the interart aspects of the text, since the music is present in the work both in the plot and in its structural configuration. We seek to highlight the hybrid aesthetic composition that dissolves utopian boundaries between purely literary and purely musical, allegorizing a literary form representative of contemporaneity, which is consolidated through dialogue between distinct arts in the same text. The theoretical perspectives are given by the postulates of Solange Ribeiro de Oliveira, regarding the presence of music in the literature and Regina Zilberman, Terry Eagleton and Jonathan Culler regarding the issues of Structuralism.

  O presente artigo se propõe a analisar o romance Valsa para Bruno Stein, do escritor gaúcho Charles Kiefer, sob a perspectiva teórica do estruturalismo, partindo do pressuposto de que a estrutura do livro contém, em diversos aspectos, a estrutura da valsa, cujo compasso ternário é composto de um tempo forte e dois fracos. Além disso, ressalta-se a perspectiva interartes do texto, visto que a música está presente na obra tanto no enredo quanto em sua configuração estrutural. Evidencia-se a composição estética híbrida que dissolve utópicos limites entre o puramente literário e o puramente musical, alegorizando uma forma literária representativa da contemporaneidade, que se consolida através do diálogo entre artes distintas num mesmo texto. As perspectivas teóricas se dão através dos postulados de Solange Ribeiro de Oliveira, no que concerne à presença da música na literatura e de Regina Zilberman, Terry Eagleton e Jonathan Culler no que tange às questões do Estruturalismo.
