La restauració de l'esglèsia vella de Sant Mateu de Vall-Llobrega

    Al llarg dels darrers anys els Serveis de Restauració de Monuments de la Diputació de Girona, en col·laboració amb l'Ajuntament de Vall-Llobrega, ha rehabilitat l'església vella de Sant mateu. Aquest és un edifici religiós- l'antiga parròquia de la població- d'estil romànic, que estava abandonat des de la segona meitat del segle XVIII. La intervenció restauradora ha consistit, bàsicament, a netejar el conjunt arquitectònic, consolidar-lo i adequar-lo perquè es pugui visitar i destinar-lo a usos culturals

    During the past two years, the Girona Provincial Council's Monuments Restoration Service, in collaboration with the Vall-Llobrega Town Council, has rehabilitated the old Sant Mateu church. It is a Romanesque-style religious building- the old parochial church of the town. that has been abandoned since the first half the 17th century. The restoration work has mainly consisted of cleaning the architectural site, reinforcing it and adapting for visitors and cultural uses
