El presente trabajo está orientado al estudio y análisis de las primeras experiencias colectivas que se dieron entre mujeres artistas en la época contemporánea, desde las primeras exposiciones a nivel internacional que se produjeron a lo largo del siglo XIX, hasta la irrupción del movimiento feminista en el ámbito estadounidense durante la segunda mitad del siglo XX. La colectividad, entendida como una herramienta de visibilización que se da en un contexto de desigualdad, se convierte en el principal hilo conductor de esa investigación.

The present work focuses on the study and analysis of the first collective experiences that occurred among women artists in the contemporary era, from the first echibitions that took place at an international level throughout the 19th until the irruption of the feminist movemente in the American field during the second half fo the 20th. The community, understood as a visibility tool that occurs in a context of inequality, becomes the main theme of this research.
