  • Resumen
    • The amendments to the Administrative Procedure Code adopted on 25 July 2018 overcame a presidential veto and entered into force on 1 January 2019. The article examines how some of them restrict the protection of citizens‘ rights in procedural terms. Such are the rules of jurisdiction, the possibility of cassation appeals against acts of the administration, the publicity (openness) of the administrative process. The subject of the study focuses on the public law aspects of the legal framework and the guarantees for the full realization of the citizens‘ right to protection within the administrative process. This it done through the prism of international public law, European Union law, constitutional law, administrative law and financial law. The analysis shows that the amendments to the legislation seriously restricted the right to judicial protection of citizens as a universal, basic, personal, procedural and public law.
