  • Resumen
    • One of the aspects, concerning human rights protection, is corporate social responsibility. The notion ‘corporate social responsibility’ is not a notion of law and there is no definition about it in the legal system. The corporate social responsibility is a sociological and ethical responsibility, but it plays an important role in the protection of the interests of the society. Merchants, businessmen and commercial companies have a duty to protect the citizens from injuries and from destroying their environment. For the first time in Bulgarian legal literature the author highlights the corporate social responsibility as a means for protecting the public interest, but not only the interests of the companies and their members.
