Resumen de Dinámicas Económicas desde la complejidad de los espacios locales. ¿Es posible?

  Este artículo plantea el desafío de entender las dinámicas económicas del cantón Salcedo desde una perspectiva integral y sistémica. Inicia con una justificación teórica a partir de los aportes de Lefebvre (1974) para la integración de actores y territorios en la producción de sus espacios, dinámicas e interrelaciones.  Luego se realiza una lectura de la información socio económica y cultural del cantón, aplicando esta perspectiva teórica. Se espera que esta metodología permita superar limitaciones de prácticas tradicionales del ejercicio de la política pública. Se sugiere que la intervención del Estado, tanto a nivel nacional como local, debe orientarse a la identificación y promoción de aquellas particularidades emergentes que permitan superar estadios estacionarios perversos y posicionar a la economía en círculos virtuosos.

  This article raises the challenge of understanding the economic dynamics of the canton Salcedo from a comprehensive and systemic perspective. It begins with a theoretical justification in the context of the contributions of Lefebvre (1974) to integrate actors and territories in the production of their spaces, dynamics and inter-relationships. Then, a reading of the socio-economic and cultural information of the canton is done, trying to keep consistency with the theory. It is expected that this methodology can overcome the failures of traditional public policy practices. It is suggested that the State intervention both, at the national and local levels, should be directed to the identification and promotion of those emerging characteristics that allow them to overcome perverse stationary stages and put economy in virtuous circles.
