Resumen de El Aprendizaje en la Educación Formal Versus el Aprendizaje en las Organizaciones

  El aprendizaje es el proceso vital de adquisición de conocimientos, habilidades y actitudes en el que los estilos de aprendizaje juegan un papel determinante.  El objetivo de esta investigación fue establecer si se han identificado los estilos de aprendizaje tanto de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Contabilidad y Auditoría (FCAUD) de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato (UTA), como de los empleados de las empresas manufactureras de la provincia de Tungurahua que constituyen una importante fuente de empleo de los profesionales formados en esta facultad. Se investigó aspectos teóricos del aprendizaje en la educación formal y en las organizaciones. Se utilizó una investigación de campo de tipo exploratoria y descriptiva y de corte transversal. El primer universo estuvo conformado por 1737 estudiantes de la FCAUD y el segundo universo por 2901 empresas manufactureras de la provincia, de donde se extrajo una muestra de 315 estudiantes y 340 empresas respectivamente. Las muestras se extrajeron con el empleo del muestreo aleatorio simple bajo parámetros estadísticos especificados. Se aplicó el test de Lynn O´Brien compuesto por 36 ítems para identificar los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes. A partir de los datos obtenidos se determinó los porcentajes de cada estilo de aprendizaje, encontrándose que el estilo visual es levemente superior a los estilos auditivos y kinestésicos. Se estableció que ni la FCAUD, ni las empresas, habían identificado los estilos de aprendizaje, sin embargo, de acuerdo a las referencias teóricas, se concluyó que es necesario identificarlos para propiciar procesos de aprendizaje efectivos.

  Learning is the vital process of acquiring knowledge, skills and attitudes in which learning styles play a determining role. The objective of this research was to establish if the learning styles of the students of the Accounting and Auditing Faculty (FCAUD) of the Technical University of Ambato (UTA), as well as of the employees of the manufacturing companies of the province, have been identified. of Tungurahua that constitute an important source of employment of the professionals trained in this faculty. Theoretical aspects of learning in formal education and in organizations were investigated. An exploratory and descriptive cross-sectional field investigation was used. The first universe was made up of 1737 students of the FCAUD and the second universe by 2901 manufacturing companies of the province, from where a sample of 315 students and 340 companies was extracted respectively. The samples were extracted with the use of simple random sampling under specified statistical parameters. The Lynn O'Brien test consisting of 36 items was applied to identify the learning styles of the students. Based on the data obtained, the percentages of each learning style were determined, finding that the visual style is slightly superior to the auditory and kinesthetic styles. It was established that neither the FCAUD nor the companies had identified the learning styles, however, according to the theoretical references, it was concluded that it is necessary to identify them in order to promote effective learning processes.
