    El artículo presenta las conclusiones de un relevamiento realizado durante 2009 y 2010, desde la Secretaría de Investigación de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Gestión de la UADER, orientado a conocer distintas facetas vinculadas a la producción científica en esta unidad académica. La investigación comprendió a docentes y estudiantes de la Facultad y buscó, mediante una encuesta, relevar información de primera mano respecto de cuestiones como la concepción que se tiene de la investigación, los antecedentes en investigaciones, las motivaciones para incursionar en ellas, los motivos de no participación, la utilización de publicaciones científicas como material didáctico, la formación en metodología de la investigación tanto en docentes como en estudiantes, la publicación de artículos en revistas científicas, entre otros aspectos. Las conclusiones permiten trazar un importante mapa sobre la situación de la investigación científica en la unidad académica estudiada.

    The article presents the conclusions of a survey realized during 2009 and 2010, from the Secretary of Research in Management Faculty of UADER, designed to meet different aspects related to scientific production in this academic unit. The research involved teachers and students of the Faculty and sought through a survey to collect first hand information on issues such as the conception that has of the investigation, the background investigations, the motivation to venture into them, the reasons for nonparticipation, the use of scientific publications as teaching materials, the training in research methodology in both teachers and students, the publishing articles in scientific journals, among others. The conclusions can be drawn an important map on the status of scientific research in the academic unit studied
