  • Resumen
    • This article tries to show the vast possibilities that children's literature can offer the English teacher, possibilities that, we believe, have not been fully considered either as an endless source of texts or as authentic teaching material. It does not need to be abridged and usually develops cultural and sociological aspects of the language in which it is written. Trying to be essentially practical, we have devised a set of excercises which attempts only to be a methodological guide from which the teacher can develop, according to his/her needs any type of linguistics or literary exploitation (phonological, lexical, syntactical, stylistic, etc.). Finally, an appendix containing various texts and recommended books for children is included.
