    La profesión de maestro ha alcanzado interés en el siglo XXI, y se cuestiona cuál debería ser el perfil del buen docente. Esta profesión ha evolucionado a lo largo de la historia, cuyas funciones han sido modificadas para atender a las necesidades de la sociedad. Las políticas educativas van encaminadas a formar un perfil de maestro competente para obtener una educación de calidad. El objetivo que se pretende conseguir con este trabajo es obtener información sobre las capacidades, habilidades y valores para ser docente. La información ha sido obtenida a través de entrevistas presenciales y cuestionarios a maestros de diferentes etapas educativas. Asimismo, se quiere comprender el cambio del perfil del docente según las demandas de la sociedad actual y la influencia del Sistema Educativo con sus continuos cambios legislativos, que configuran los contenidos, las metodologías utilizadas en el aula y las características del futuro docente para preparar al alumnado

    Teaching profession has caught the attention in the 21st century and the profile of the good teacher is being questioned. This profession, whose functions have been modified in order to attend to the needs of society, has evolved throughout history. Educational policies are aimed at developing a competent teacher profile to obtain a quality education. The objective that is intended to achieve with this work is to obtain information about the abilities, skills and values to be a teacher. The information has been collected through face-to-face interviews and questionnaires to teachers from different educational stages. In this work, we want to understand the change of the teacher’s profile according to the demands of today’s society. Likewise, we are going to study the influence of the Educational System with its continuous legislative changes, which configure includes the contents, methodologies used in the classroom and the characteristics of the future teacher to prepare the student
