Resumen de Proyecto constructivo del nuevo Puente Ferroviario Transfronterizo sobre el río Miño

  La nueva conexión ferroviaria entre Vigo y Oporto tiene como elemento más singular la estructura que salva el cauce del río Miño. Se trata de una estructura de gran longitud condicionada por diversos factores de tipo medioambiental y técnicos, lo que motiva proponer un diseño que sea referente en las líneas de alta velocidad españolas. La solución consiste en un viaducto de 4.324 metros, de sección principal de tipo pórtico y viaductos de aproximación en tipología en viga continua. La concepción de este viaducto pretende establecer un valioso nuevo vínculo entre España y Portugal al mismo tiempo que conseguir una adecuada integración de la estructura en el amplio valle del río Miño.

  The new crossing over the Minho river is undoubted/y the most comp/ex e/ement of the new railway connection between the cities of Vigo and Porto. This new bridge consists on a very long structure constrained by severa/ technica/ and environmental aspects, thus motivating the attainment of a magnificent design among the Spanish high-speed railway network. The proposed solution presents a 4324-meter-/ong structure where the main section is formed by rigid trame and approach spans are conceived as continuous beam bridges. The conception of this new viaduct aims at establishing a new va/uable bond between Spain and Portugal while at the same time achieving an adequate integration of the structure in the open va/ley of the Minho.
